  • Modelling of solar irradiation


Roberto is a PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, studying the field efficiency of PV-Modules.

Roberto has a Scientific Masters degree in Energy Conversion and Management from The University of Applied Sciences Offenburg, Germany. Prior to his masters, Roberto gained a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from The University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Roberto also has more than 6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.  While undertaking an internship at the Fraunhoffer Institute, he was part of the RESIREA project, which aimed to develop electrification in rural areas in Laos and Cambodia based on PV systems.
